Bale Design is a private architect practice of Gede Arista Gunawan, an indonesian balinese architect who has been awarded professional architect licenses by the lkatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAl) since 2008 (awarded IAl title), the ASEAN Architect Council (AAC) since 2014 (awarded AA title), and the Dewan Arsitek Indonesia (DAI) since 2022 (awarded Ar. title).
Gede Arista received his bachelor degree of architecture on 1999 at the Institut Teknologi Nasional – Bandung, West Java, and received his master degree of management on 2004 at the Udayana University – Denpasar, Bali.
He has experienced over decades of architectural practice including working on foreign western architect firm, foreign eastern architect firm, representing foreign country’s government, also involved on the development of renowned resort hotels like the Four Seasons, Novotel, Radisson, & Shangri-La.
His works has been displayed in various architecture publications and magazines such as Architect+, Indonesia Design, Asri, Living Etc, Asrinesia, and architecture books such as Rumah Etnik Bali, Rumah Indonesia.
Bale Design studio has been supported by talented young architects who use their creative energy and passion in doing their works, while at the same time working hard to fulfill various needs and expectations from our Clients.
